The Milk Lamp is inspired by the classic nordic milk stool and Nordic tradition of wood and glass. It is designed by NORM architects Kasper Rønn & Jonas Bjerre-Poulsen for &tradition. It’s the first item in a series of sensory design for the home that comes in two flavors – with black or with white cord. The lamp itself is made in white translucent glass, acrylic and oak. It is dimensioned to fit in all corners of the home for a perfect cosy atmosphere. The angle of the legs, the soft edges and the cord in the middle gives the lamp its anthropomorphic character. It is the perfect decoration for any swedish apartment or any other modern interior design. { NORM architects | &tradition }

NORM Architects is a relatively new design studio that create awesome architecture and design products. Fredensborg House is their latest project that shows how simple Nordic interior could be livable and beautiful. The whole space is very clean and full of color and material constants. The natural light is very important in such interiors so a breathtaking 18 meter stretch of vertical windows has a strategic role here. The facade of the garden, which is made completely of glass also makes its contribution. The whole interior grants a feeling of calm and looks very natural.
